THE STORY

From grower to supplier.

Plantendak started where green roofs actually start: with the plants. Through our own experience, research and working with local growers, we learned which plants shrug off a Belgian summer, which recycled raw materials make the ideal growing medium, and which materials still perform after many winters.

Today we put that knowledge in boxes. We supply complete green roof solutions — premium materials and DIY systems that let homeowners and professionals build durable, sustainable green roofs themselves.

Our green roofs can be delivered across Belgium from our premises in Meise, Londerzeelsesteenweg 1.

Locally grown

Our plants are grown in Belgium — local and familiar.

100% peat-free

Peat is excavated bog and belongs in fens, marshes and other natural areas — not on roofs. Our substrate is peat-free, made of recycled organic and inorganic material.

Circular materials

Crushed brick, recycled fleece, reusable trays — materials with a past and a future.

In the technical advice we give you, we are honest and we go for safety and certainty.
